PARAGON: Early Catalog To Be Reissued

Bassist Jan Bünning of the German power metallers PARAGON has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"We had a long chat with the Remedy [Records] crew and finally found a very good solution for the re-releases of our B.O. Records back catalog. We will release 'The Final Command' [originally issued in 1998] with the longtime out-of-print 'Into the Black' MCD [1994] as bonus tracks on one CD. 'Chalice of Steel' [1999] will be released as double CD including the whole 'World of Sin' [1995] album as bonus. Both albums will have reworked artwork and all songs will be remastered. Expect 'The Final Command' to be released end of June/beginning of July already!"

In other news, PARAGON have begun writing material for the follow-up to this year's "Revenge". "We have rough versions of four songs without vocals so far," Bünning writes on the group's web site. "One of the songs was written by Günny and sound really cool and fits perfect to our PARAGON style!"

PARAGON will be embarking on a club tour with TORMENT and DARK AGE in September. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.
